Carter's New Cut

Mommy really wanted Carter to get his hair cut. Carter refused to go to a barber, kept saying he wanted me to do it. So, I did the only cut that I knew how...
He LOVES it!

When We Are Bored...

Sometimes parents get a little bored. So, we took some cheese and crackers and taped them to Carter's remote controlled car to see what Aralynn would do.

Wigs!

Carter and I went to Walmart and found these wigs! Carter put the wig on in the car and when we got home he walked in the house and said to Justin "I went to get my hair cut and I told them to take only a little off the top!"

Attempt #2

This is our second attempt to wake him up, and it worked!

Walking Tacos

I made Walking Tacos for dinner (Carter wanted Cheetos instead of Fritos). When I handed them to the kids, Carter stood there for a while just looking at the bag. Then he asked "So, what? They only walk when we aren't watching?" I then explained to him that you can walk and eat them at the same time, that's why they are called Walking Tacos. And you guess it, he then walked around the house until he was done eating. And of course since Carter did it, Aralynn had to follow him...Just imagine the mess!

Brownies

It was too cold to play outside after school, so we made some brownies! Aralynn tried the batter and as you can see, didn't like it very much. Carter wouldn't stop laughing and kept trying to make her eat more! Hey, what are big brothers for! :)

Birthday Dinner

Carter wanted mac and cheese with hot dogs for his Birthday dinner. Mommy also made him a chocolate shake! The perfect birthday meal!

Thank you Murrays! Carter was so excited to open his presents from you! (He was very mad at me because he got the package in the mail Saturday and I made him wait for today to open it, it just about killed him when he saw it sitting on our table and he couldn't open it!)

Happy Birthday Carter!

For Carter's birthday breakfast he wanted yummy cinnamon rolls. She we got up early and made some together. He is so excited to bring his Birthday snacks to school today!

New Hats

The kids got another Valentine in the mail! Thanks Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Go, they love how soft the pillows are!

Thanks Auntie Niecy for the Valentines, Carter really enjoys making the bubbles! He kept trying to make HUGE ones, and I have to say...he did a great job!

Back To The 80s

Aralynn went back into the 80s! With her bright green shirt, socks over her pants, pony tails, she has to be the cutest girl I have ever seen. She stood on the ottoman and did a couple poses for us!

Love Snack

Mommy made some chocolate covered strawberries for a yummy valentine snack. Yum....Aralynn's favorite!

We had a heart shaped pizza for lunch. Made with LOVE!

Love Mail

Carter and Aralynn received love mail from Auntie Niecy. Carter also received some from Grandma Berta and Daddy. Thanks everyone for making Valentines Day a little more exciting for them!

Love Breakfast

For Valentine's Day breakfast, Mommy made red and purple french toast. The also had strawberries and oranges. And to drink, orange cherry flavored SunnyD.

Love Bugs

When the kids were finished with their Valentine's breakfast they got their Valentines. Sunglasses, teddy bear, watch, candy, and chocolate!

Love Clothes

After their morning bath, they put their Valentine clothes on. Aralynn is so excited there is a cat on her hood. Instead of saying, "Cheese!" She said, "Meow!"

Birthday Surprise!

We surprised Carter yesterday by picking him up from school early. He took him to a hotel for the night to celebrate his birthday with our neighbors. We had so much fun!

I was going through all my videos and found this one. It's old and I don't know if I already posted it, but it made me smile. So, I had to post it again.

Underwear

Mommy was doing some laundry and Aralynn found some of her underwear...So, she had to of course put them on her head. She was so happy dancing around, until brother took a pair off of her and put them on his head. Now, she crosses her arms and won't look at anyone.

Another Cake

I got a little bored, so I decided to make another cake. This time I was sidetracked several times, and it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. But, it's still ok. (Note to self: Make cakes when kids are in bed)

Snow...again.

Well, it's snowing again. Justin had some fun writing our last name in our driveway.

Valentine Box

Mommy and Carter made his Valentine Box for his school's Valentine party on Friday. Carter also wrote out all the names on the valentines, his hand hurt when he was done, but he did such a good job!

Packing For Deployment

This a just a little view of what our house looks like as Justin packs for his deployment (there are still a lot more things in the hallway, kitchen floor and two loads of laundry). Everything needs to be packed up by tomorrow to ship out.
