Fishing

When Mommy woke up, Grandma told her that the kids woke up early and had a very eventful morning. It was only 9am and the kids had their breakfast and went fishing. The neighbors gave the kids fishing poles and they both can not get enough of them. Carter really wants to go ice fishing, but the swimming pool will have to do for now. Aralynn will put her pole in the water, and then show us her imaginary fish. She will inform us how big/little the fish is and what color.

Library Cards!

Carter and Aralynn go on a date with Grandma every Saturday to the library. When they came back today, they were both extremely happy that they got their very own library card! Carter wouldn't be in the pictures, but as you can see when Mommy handed Aralynn her card, she was thrilled to have it!

Cute kids snuggling up this morning.

Digging For A Jumprope

Aralynn was throwing a jumprope around, so Mommy took it and quickly hid it. Well, when Aralynn asked Mommy where it was, I said, Mommy ate it. SO...Aralynn decided it would be fun to look for it, and try to get it out. Yes, Mommy did gag a few times!

First Window To The World

Carter lost his first tooth last night! It has been lose for a few weeks and Mommy kept telling him to get that thing out of his head!! Well last night, Carter said he wanted Mommy to pull it, so I pinched it, counted to three, and pulled!
After I pulled, he said, "You didn't get it, did you?" That is when I put my hand out and showed him his tooth! He didn't even feel it!
Thanks to Grandma Berta, who made Carter and awesome "tooth bag" with a letter that reads:
Dear Tooth Fairy,
Here's my tooth as you can see,
Once a special part of me.
Take it with you
Please I pray,
And leave a shiny
Coin my way.
Love, Carter

Carter was very excited to put the tooth in the bag and put it right under his pillow, but first he had to write another letter to the tooth fairy. His letter said:

Dear Tooth Fairy,
Since this is my first tooth can you please give me more money then just
one coin? Thank you Tooth Fairy.
Love, Carter

This morning Mommy was woken up by Carter, extremely excited that the Tooth Fairy gave him a whole ten dollars! I told him he was very lucky to get that much money for his first tooth!
Mommy, of course, had to take a picture of Carter's first "window to the world" :)

Sour Face

Mommy, Carter, and Aralynn took turns eating sour skittles. We laughed at each other as we all made a sour face!....Here is what the kids looked like :)

Cortney, Carter, and Aralynn made this beautiful masterpiece!!

Hair Cut

Aralynn getting her hair cut at Cloud 9!! Thanks Rebecca!!

If Aralynn is outside and she has to go to the bathroom, she will run downstairs, get her chair, bring it outside, and do her business.
The "big" potty chair was always hard for her to get onto, so mommy always helped her...until now! She just learned that if she sits backwards, she can do it all by herself!!

Boy Scout Snack

Carter is doing some activities for Boy Scouts. Here he had to make a snack, so he made "Fish in the Sea". Cream cheese frosting on a ritz cracker with gold fish crackers on top. They were actually very good!

Trying To Drive?

Aralynn was trying so hard to get into the doll car and go for a ride. She even got her foot stuck in the car!! Way too cute!

She ended up just sitting on the car...Cool Dude!
