Christmas Program
Carter's school Christmas program was so cute! Carter did a great job at singing. As you can tell, Aralynn really enjoyed to concert too. After they were done, we walked through Carter's classroom and looked at all his art work. My favorite thing he made was a colored picture of Santa with a letter, saying...
Dear Santa,
What am I getting for Christmas?
My sister always destroys my forts.
I want a Pocket Rocket and $100.
Merry Christmas Santa!
Your friend,
Carter Mueller

A Package From Santa
Carter and Aralynn received a package from Santa today!!!
Ho! Ho! Ho!
I am looking forward to coming by your house on Christmas Eve. I'll try not to make too much noise when my sleigh lands on your rooftop, but sometimes the reindeer get too excited!
I hear that this has been a rough year for the both of you, but that you have handled it beautifully. Your parents, teacher, and I are all so proud of you. I know it has to be hard with your dad away serving our country in the Army. I'm sure it doesn't seem fair at all. It is such a great sacrifice he and your entire family are making to help protect the nation's freedom.
I bet this Christmas feels like something special is missing. While it's true that your dad can't be with you in person this year, the love you feel for each other in your hearts means that in a way you can never be apart.
I hope you will enjoy the holiday! I'm flying all around the world, so I'll be sure to say "hi" to your dad for you.
Love,
Santa
P.S. Don't forget to sprinkle the reindeer food in your yard Christmas Eve. They LOVE the treats!!
Mr. Peeps
Also in the package from Santa, was this magic elf! Here is the letter that came with him....
Christmas is approaching, and this is the day
Santa has sent Mr. Peeps to your house to stay.
He sent this small elf to your house and mine.
Soon after Thanksgiving, He must be on time.
Mr. Peeps has a purpose. His purpose will be,
To whisper to Santa all the good that he sees.
Soon after he gets here, he moves only at night
To high places, to low places, he stays in plain sight.
In the kitchen, for instance, he sits high on a shelf.
Mr. Peeps can sit anywhere, for he is an elf.
He holds very still when he thinks you are watching.
His magic is precious, it fades with on touching.
He sits on the tree on Christmas Eve day.
He knows that Santa is soon on his way.
He waits and he waits without making a noise.
He waits until Santa arrives with the toys
So you better be nice and mind what you say
Because Mr. Peeps will tell Santa when he comes with his sleigh.
Once Christmas is here and Santa has come,
Mr. Peeps must leave, for his job is well done.
But, he will return next year on the same very day,
To watch your behavior as you work and you play.
So we put Mr. Peeps on the kitchen shelf and he watch the kids and I play with Legos on the table. The kids later took a shower and brushed their teeth and when they climbed into bed they noticed Mr. Peeps was on top of our bedroom window! We couldn't believe it! He really IS watching us!

Winter
The day after we got six inches of snow over night, of course, the kids had to play in it. After about five minutes Mommy was begging them to go back inside (way too cold)! But no way was that going to happen. Thank goodness Aunt Cortney and Grandpa Brad stayed out there a little longer! Rylee also LOVED sticking her face in the snow and looked very cute as she popped her head back up, face full of flakes!

Tooth #2
Winnie The Pooh
Grandma Ellen to me and the kids to Winnie The Pooh Musical. During the play Aralynn kept yelling, "Hi Winnie The Pooh!" when it was really quiet. Of course Pooh didn't answer because it was the middle of the play, so then Aralynn would look at us and tell us he didn't hear her. When the play was over the kids had a chance to meet the characters. Carter didn't want to go, but of course Aralynn did. She met Eeyore, Pooh, and Piglet.
